Who we are

Simon Cockcroft

I’m an experienced engineer who genuinely enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish, from the first conversation and site visit to installation, commissioning, and handover. I take real satisfaction in delivering work that’s done properly and that continues to perform long after the job is finished.

I’m passionate about the environment and about the role good engineering plays in understanding and protecting it. I enjoy problem-solving, especially when each site brings its own challenges and I take a calm, methodical approach to finding practical solutions that work in the real world.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a technical specialist across the UK, supporting a wide range of hydrology, meteorology, solar, and water quality sensors. My experience spans several industries including rail, environmental monitoring, renewable energy, and water, which has given me a strong appreciation of different site conditions, safety requirements, and operational needs.

I value clear communication and straightforward working relationships, and I aim to be someone clients can rely on for honest advice, high-quality workmanship, and dependable engineering support.
